WEIGHING:

ALL HEADS UP CARS WILL WEIGH AND TECH IN THE BAY NEXT TO THE USUAL TECH BAY.  A STICKER WILL BE PLACED ON YOUR WINDSHIELD WITH YOU WEIGHT.  YOUR TECH DIRECTOR WILL COME AROUND FOR YOUR CLASS TECH AND VERIFY YOUR WEIGHT.  DO NOT PULL INTO THE LANES WITHOUT A WEIGHT STICKER.  WEIGHING AFTER THAT WILL BE RANDOM OR UPON A PROTEST.  BEFORE A RUN IN THE STAGING LANES YOU MAY BE PICKED FOR RANDOM WEIGHING, IF SO A STICKER WILL BE PLACED ON YOUR WINDSHIELD AND YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO BRING YOUR CAR DIRECTLY TO THE SCALES AFTER THE RUN.  YOU MUST WAIT THERE FOR YOUR TECH DIRECTOR TO VERIFY YOUR WEIGHT AND WRITE IT ON THE STICKER.  DO NOT PASS THE SCALES.

 

DRIVERS MEETINGS:

WE WILL HAVE A GENERAL DRIVERS MEETING AFTER QUALIFYING.  WE WOULD LIKE ALL DRIVERS TO ATTEND.  YOUR TECH DIRECTOR WILL BE THERE AND GIVE YOU YOUR FIRST ROUND PAIRINGS. 
 
 
LADDERS AND PAIRINGS:

THE LADDERS WITH PARINGS WILL BE POSTED ON THE BACK OF TREVOR'S TRAILER AFTER EACH ROUND.  EACH TEAM WILL NEED TO STOP BY AND SEE WHO THEY ARE PAIRED UP WITH.  BE SURE YOU KNOW YOUR PAIRING BEFORE YOU ARE CALLED TO THE LANES.  ONCE YOU HERE THE CALL TO THE LANES YOU WILL NEED TO PAIR UP AT THE BACK OF THE LANES.  YOU WILL HAVE 5 MINUTES AFTER LAST CALL AND ONCE THE FIRST CAR IN YOUR CLASS ENTERS THE BURNOUT BOX, THE LANES WILL BE CLOSED FOR YOUR CLASS.  WE NEED TO KEEP THE EVENT MOVING SO DON'T BE LATE.
 

GENERAL RULES:

ALL DRIVERS, PIT CREW AND FAMILY MEMBERS WILL BE EXPECTED TO ACT IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER. IT IS THE DRIVERS RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT ALL PIT CREW MEMBERS AS WELL AS FAMILY MEMBERS ADHERE TO THIS RULE, ANY VIOLATION WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION AND LOSS OF ENTRY FEES, IF DEEMED SERIOUS ENOUGH OR IT BECOMES A PROBLEM AT LATER RACES IT IS UP TO THE DISCRETION OF TXDRL TO BAN THE INDIVIDUAL FROM FUTURE RACES.

ALL RACES WILL BE RUN ON A .400 PRO TREE, COURTESY STAGING WILL BE IN EFFECT. ALL CARS MUST STAGE ON THEIR OWN POWER. DEEP STAGING IS ALLOWED.

RULES OF THE APPROPRIATE SANCTIONING BODY WILL BE IN EFFECT NHRA AND IHRA DEPENDING ON THE HOST TRACK.

SAFETY RULES OF THE HOST TRACK WILL BE IN EFFECT.

RULES PUBLISHED ON THE TXDRL WEBSITE ARE THE OFFICIAL RULES AND ARE SUBJECT TO REVISIONS AT THE DISCRETION OF TXDRL. ANY REVISIONS WILL BE POSTED ON THE TXDRL WEB SITE WITHIN 3 DAYS OF ANY RULE REVISIONS OR AT LEAST 1 WEEK PRIOR TO AN EVENT.

RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

A RACER MAY ONLY BE AN ENTRANT IN ONE CLASS AT ANY GIVEN RACE.

ANY RULE INTERPRETATION IS LEFT UP TO THE DISCRETION OF TXDRL.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE YOU TO PULL TO THE LINE WITHOUT PROPER SAFETY GEAR IN PLACE. THIS MEANS EVERYTHING. GLOVES, HELMET, JACKET, PANTS, HARNESSES, ETC. THIS IS FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY.

SOME NON-PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGE VIOLATIONS MAY BE GRANTED AN EXCEPTION. ANY EXCEPTION MUST BE GRANTED BY AN TXDRL OFFICIAL PRIOR TO QUALIFYING AND WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT THE DRIVERS MEETING. ANY VIOLATIONS FOUND AFTER THE FACT WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION.

POINTS WILL BE CALCULATED AND POSTED AFTER EACH RACE. PLEASE CHECK YOUR POINTS AND IF AN ERROR IS FOUND, IT MUST BE REPORTED PRIOR TO THE NEXT SCHEDULE RACE. POINTS WILL BE LOCKED IN THE DAY OF THE NEXT SCHEDULE RACE AND ANY ERRORS WILL NOT BE CORRECTED.


RULE VIOLATION CHALLENGES:

TXDRL WORKS ON AN HONOR SYSTEM. AT ANYTIME DURING A RACE YOU MAY BE TECH'D BY A TXDRL OFFICIAL OR CLASS COORDINATOR AND HE HAS THE RIGHT TO CHECK WHAT HE CAN AND HONOR YOUR WORD ON WHAT HE CAN NOT (I.E. CUBIC INCHES). ALL OTHER INSPECTIONS WILL REQUIRE A PROTEST. TXDRL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DETERMINE THE MEANS OF INSPECTION.

TXDRL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ASK ANY CONTESTANT TO PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION TO PROVE THAT THEIR EQUIPMENT MEETS THE RULES FOR THE CLASS.

ANY CHALLENGE MUST BE MADE BY A DRIVER ENTERED INTO COMPETITION OF THE SAME CLASS.

ALL RULE VIOLATION CHALLENGES WILL BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY.

EACH STATED VIOLATION WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE CHALLENGE.

A $150 FEE WILL BE REQUIRED FOR EACH CHALLENGE. IF THE CAR BEING CHALLENGED IS FOUND TO BE IN VIOLATION, THEY WILL BE DISQUALIFIED AND THE FEE WILL BE REFUNDED. IF THE CAR IS WITHIN THE RULES THEN THE FEE WILL BE FORFEITED TO THE ACCUSED.

ALL CHALLENGES MUST BE MADE WITHIN 15 MINUTES OF THE END OF THE ROUND. TECH INSPECTIONS THAT WILL REQUIRE EXTENDED DOWN TIME WILL NEED TO BE CHALLENGED AT LEAST 2 HRS. PRIOR TO SCHEDULED FIRST ROUND OF ELIMINATIONS OR WILL BE COMPLETED AFTER THE CONTESTANT HAS BEEN ELIMINATED FROM COMPETITION. IF CONTESTANT IS FOUND TO BE ILLEGAL HE WILL FORFEIT ALL POINTS AND WINNINGS FOR THAT RACE.

THE LADDER WILL BE ADJUSTED ACCORDINGLY TO DETERMINE POINTS AND/OR WINNINGS. TXDRL WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DETERMINING IF A PROTEST WILL REQUIRE EXTENDED DOWN TIME.

IF A PROTEST IS TECH'D DURING ELIMINATIONS AND FOUND TO BE WITHIN THE RULES, THE ACCUSED TEAM WILL RECEIVE AS MUCH TIME AS NEEDED TO PREPARE FOR THE NEXT ROUND.

AS TXDRL DOES NOT REQUIRE MEMBERSHIP FEES, WORKS TO KEEP ENTRY FEES LOW AND MAXIMIZE PAYOUTS, TXDRL CAN NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE TO PROVIDE TOOLS FOR TECHNICAL INSPECTIONS.

ALL CHALLENGES WILL BE TECH’D BY A NEUTRAL PARTY IN THE PRESENCE OF ONE OF THE ACCUSED TEAM’S CREW MEMBER AND A TXDRL OFFICIAL.
